Cheese, Tomato and Onion Braided Rolls

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup sun dried tomatoes
  • ½ cup sautéed onion
  • ½ cheese shredded


  • In a bowl, place in warm water, add yeast, and sugar. Mix and let stand about 10 minutes.
  • Add flour, oil, and salt to the yeast mixture; beat until smooth. Then allow to rest for 5 minutes.
  • Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a rectangle.
  • Make filling. Add ingredients to a bowl a mixture till combined.
  • Spread filling into the dough. Then fold the dough into a log. Then cut into 6 sections. Take each section make 3 cuts then braid the subsections. Then roll up.
  • Place each roll into a greased 6 muffin pan. Spread on melted butter.
  • Bake at 400 for 10-15 till golden brown. Remove add more melted butter. Enjoy!
