In a small bowl mix together 1 tbsp ground flaxseed and 3 tbsp of water. Set aside to allow it to thicken.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large mixing bowl beat butter with sugar, flaxseed egg and vanilla extract.
Blend in flour, baking powder and salt. Stir well. Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop on oiled baking sheet by teaspoonfuls, add more chips if needed.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until done. Tip sprinkle with sea salt!
