In a large bowl, mix together rye, all-purpose, baking powder and salt.
In another bowl, combine brown sugar, milk, eggs and oil until well combined.
Stir dry mixture into the wet until a batter forms.
In a medium sized skillet, over medium-high heat, melt some butter. Add ¼ cup of batter evenly and swirl the pan to evenly coat. Cook for 2 minutes and flip. Cook for an additional minute.
Repeat until the batter is gone.
