Sweet & Spicy Baked Cauliflower

      • Ingredients:
      • Cauliflower

        • ½ cup Gochujang
        • ⅓ cup Soy Sauce
        • ⅓ cup Honey
        • ¼ cup Mirin
        • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
        • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
        • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
        • ½ teaspoon Ginger Powder

Jasmine rice, sesame seeds + scallions for serving

      • Directions:
        1. Preheat oven to 425℉.
        2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, tapioca starch, baking powder, salt and about 1 cup of water to create a thin pancake-like batter. Add cauliflower florets to the bowl and mix until fully coated.
        3. Individually grab battered cauliflower and allow excess batter to drip off and back into the bowl before transferring to two parchment-lined baking sheets.
        4. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they just begin to turn golden brown.
        5. Sauce: combine all sauce ingredients in a skillet and bring to a simmer. Simmer for a minute or two until honey has melted and combined well into the other ingredients.
        6. Once cauliflower is finished baking, toss in sauce.
        7. Serve with jasmine rice and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced scallions!
